8 Inch Three-Way Bookshelf Home Speaker

A handmade three-way bookshelf speaker built around an 8-inch woofer. Three drivers means the bass, midrange and treble each get their own dedicated driver instead of asking two to cover everything — voices sit forward and stay separated from the low end.

The cabinet is solid wood with a labyrinth (transmission-line) internal path, which loads the woofer to get lower, tighter bass out of a bookshelf-sized box than a simple sealed enclosure manages.

What you'll need

These are passive speakers, so they run from an amplifier or an AV receiver rather than plugging into power directly. Any stereo amp with standard speaker terminals will drive them.
